I am born and raised a California kid who has spent lots of time traveling all over the country with a previous field of business. I am now 35 years old/young and my wife and I own a Company called Touched By Angel. We primarily due new Hardscape construction which is everything needed outside of your home. We have been enjoying this hobby/sport for a little bit of time now. Many years ago I competitively raced R/C stadium trucks & buggies and loved that but always wanted to get into air planes. I built my first plane after talking a lot to my nieghbor Dennis Shimko and with his help and giudance I now have sucessfully built several planes and now have a growing collection. Although I do enjoy flying the planes, my heart is truely into building them from sticks of wood into full blown flying pieces. Warbirds is were I turn into a little kid but lets face it there are so many other styles. I am proud be part of MVF clud and look forward to bringing any knowledge and expierience that I may have to help our club grow. I am always avaliable to anyone and if given the chance I will do anything I can to help.
VICE PRESIDENT : Josh La Dou (951) 973-4655
A native of San Diego, CA, I have been in the hobby for about 25 Years. I started with U-control planes in the late 70s. I moved up to RC gliders and powered planes in the mid 80s. I took a 15 year break from flying after the birth of my first daughter. I have just returned to the sport last year and joined one of the best clubs I have ever been a part of (MVF). I hope to be able to help people find the joy in this hobby that I have by being an instructor and the current Secretary of the club.
Treasurer: Matt Stein (951) 672-6020
A native of Brooklyn, New York, I built my first rubber-powered model airplane at the age of seven and flew my first OK Cub .049 nitro-powered U-Control plane at the ripe old age of 9. I've been hooked ever since. I progressed from ½-A U-Control to Class C Free Flight, and most recently (since 1998) to nitro and electric powered radio control. I consider myself a "sport flyer" and enjoy burning holes in the sky every chance I get. I have been a member of MVF since 1998 and have served 2 years as President, 1 year as Vice President, and this is my 3rd year as Treasurer. I am also the Membership Chairman
